Working Principle

The water pump delivers water to the top spray water-distribution assembly. Water spreads evenly across both front and back surfaces of the vertical double-sided evaporator. Refrigerant inside the evaporator continuously absorbs heat. Water freezes layer by layer on both sides while impurities are separated out, gradually forming crescent-shaped ice. Once ice reaches preset thickness, the unit triggers the de-icing cycle. Hot gas flows into evaporator, ice slides down by gravity into the lower ice bin, and a new ice-making cycle starts.
